WMP Flohmarkt - MARKTHALLE IX, KREUZBERG

The We Make Party Flohmarkt is relaunching on 3rd June 2012! Doors 12:00h - 18:00h.

We've been working tirelessly over the last few months, getting ready for the move to our new, monthly premises at the Markthalle IX, Kreuzberg Berlin.

WMP will host a whole new variety of sellers, who we think are pretty special... we hope you do to!

Boxhagner Platz Fleamarket

As regular readers will know, Berlin is ridiculous in the winter. Only the super hardcore frequent the scantily clad outdoor fleamarkets between the months of November and February. The wimpier majority however, opt out around October and return, ready to spend a Euro or two around..well now actually. Here are a few pics from one of our fav' haunts: Boxhagner Platz in Friedrichshain, taken just before the big freeze set in last year.

WMP Fashion Flohmarkt Saturday 20th February!!

Exciting news all round it seems...

If you're in Berlin this weekend the first WMP of the year is be taking place on Saturday 20th February, at the Betahaus, Prinzessinnen Strasse, Kreuzberg 10969, Berlin. Doors open from 13.00 - 18.00 hrs.

There'll be a huge selection of secondhand and vintage clothes, shoes, bags, books, records and lots more; plus our favorite Dj's Love & Mercy providing the sweet sweet music. A bar serving drinks and hot and cold snacks will also be open throughout the day.

Happy Christmas from WMP Berlin!

So, following a really long hunt for a venue, the WMP Fashion Flohmarkt held it's fourth event at Betahaus last Saturday.



Despite the freezing temperatures on the day (-10 degrees!) shoppers arrived in droves to check out what was on offer.



Music was provided by Love and Mercy playing a delicious mixture of disco, house and 80's raregroove , Dimitri played a selection of old school Soul, disco and funk, while MorrisLess got our circulation going by rounding off the day with a warming selection of deep house tracks.



WMP Fashion Flohmarkt is an independent flea market and has been steadily growing from strength to strength. We're excited about what the future holds for us. WMP! wishes you a happy Christmas and looks forward to seeing you in the new year for more fun, fashion and frolics!

WMP Fashion Flohmarkt Saturday 19th December!!

Expect gorgeous second hand and vintage items at reasonable prices, unique trinkets, beautifully hand crafted accessories and much much more. There will be a bar serving hot and cold refreshments, not to mention music from the likes of MorrisLess, Love&Mercy, Dimitri and Anne & Katja.

The market runs from 13.00 - 18.00hr. Get there early to snap up those
bargains. Free Entrance!!

Flea Market Barcelona Second Anniversary and cakes....

I can't wait for the next Flea Market in Barcelona, it's going to be our second anniversary and this means that things are going pretty well and our job worked out fine!

One of the most difficult missions we have now is to make a huge cake (a Flea Cake!) to share it with all our followers but... Does anybody know any recipe called Flea Market Cake? I found this when I was googleing: Cake but it didn't convince me really...

I'm actually thinking about making another carrot cake, but i'm still practising and it's still pretty far from the one I tried in Berlin (made by our lovely friend and flohmarketer Jo and also the best carrot cake maker EVER!!!!). I need help, then.... any suggestion?

To all those who would like to come to share this special day with us, El Flea Barcelona would take place this Sunday 8th Nov from 5:30 pm until 9:30pm at maumau.
