The We Make Party Flohmarkt is relaunching on 3rd June 2012! Doors 12:00h - 18:00h.

We've been working tirelessly over the last few months, getting ready for the move to our new, monthly premises at the Markthalle IX, Kreuzberg Berlin.

WMP will host a whole new variety of sellers, who we think are pretty special... we hope you do to!

Future Fleas!

New Flea Generations!

I found these three friends yesterday by the Santa Caterina Market, Barcelona.

They had a tiny and lonesome stall and they were selling the books they had already read for veeeery reasonable prices. I couldn't resist and asked them if i could take a picture of them for this blog, then we had a bit of fun all together, and my mum, who i didn't mention, but was also with me, bought the Little Red Cap book for her future granddaughter.

This encounter made me think about how new generations are being more and more familiarized with Flea Markets. It definitely made my day!

Fashion Reloaded @ Direktorenhaus September 23rd 2010

On September 23rd 2010 Direktorenhaus and Fashion Reloaded invite you to question the potential of your forgotten clothes by bringing them to swap and reload!
Once swapped, the garments can be redesigned and restyled at the fully equipped workshop. We provide materials, tools, sewing machines, practical assistance and an inspiring upcycling environment.

Join this workshop which not only changes the garments but also the perception of anyone who dares to swap and reload!

Fashion Reloaded also features Ilikemystyle the world’s first entirely user generated fashion magazine, with their pop-up fan store! The store will present "fan" merchandise utterly dialectically: a store filled with T-shirts, magazines, nail polish which will fascinate both the generators and consumers of Ilikemystyle. In addition the store will host an impromptu photo booth to snap your newly Fashion Reloaded outfit, user generated video footage, recycled T-shirts and of course the magazine itself. Direktorenhaus are delighted to welcome Dr Oliver Vodeb from Openwear a meta-fashion label based on open source philosophy, Cecilia Palmer and Sophie Bayerlein designers and co-initiators of Fashion Reloaded, and Adriano Sack co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of I like my style. The discussion will be moderated by free culture and open design advocate Andrea Goetzke.

Este Flea es exclusivo y hemos decidido hacerlo para todos aquellos que guardáis prendas de una calidad exclusiva, vintage, o de marcas buenas, que no pueden ser vendidas entre las gangas que normalmente se encuentran en el Flea mensual.

Además también podréis disfrutar de las REBAIXES increíbles que habrá de la ropa que normalmente se vende en la tienda RIFT, y todo acompañado de música bebida y muy buen ambiente.

FLEA MARKET en colaboración con RIFT SHOP 

Happy Christmas from WMP Berlin!

So, following a really long hunt for a venue, the WMP Fashion Flohmarkt held it's fourth event at Betahaus last Saturday.



Despite the freezing temperatures on the day (-10 degrees!) shoppers arrived in droves to check out what was on offer.



Music was provided by Love and Mercy playing a delicious mixture of disco, house and 80's raregroove , Dimitri played a selection of old school Soul, disco and funk, while MorrisLess got our circulation going by rounding off the day with a warming selection of deep house tracks.



WMP Fashion Flohmarkt is an independent flea market and has been steadily growing from strength to strength. We're excited about what the future holds for us. WMP! wishes you a happy Christmas and looks forward to seeing you in the new year for more fun, fashion and frolics!

As well as Frockstar you’ll find a plethora of other stalls, all very different in their style and product. Don’t be surprised to find a stall full of fabulous 80’s party dresses alongside another selling vintage lace 20’s numbers and handmade headwear to go with. Prices vary from stall to stall but are generally recession shopper friendly…
